I am anthropologist and women’s studies professor who has served an an expert witness for political asylum cases concerning domestic violence, femicide, LGBT individuals (for all Central America), generalized violence, land tenure, and the military.
I have also assisted insurance companies with settlements for immigrant family members, helping insurance companies contact immigrant family members and ensuring safe remittance of insurance payments.
